Winter Concert Series, Olbrich Gardens (March 25, 2007)

Sunday, March 25, 2007, Winter Concert Series at Olbrich Gardens: Americay – Irish and Scottish, 2 – 3 p.m. Warm your winter day with a concert in the Evjue Commons. Series sponsored by the Olbrich Botanical Society. Americay plays traditional Irish, Scottish and Cape Breton tunes. Suggested $1 donation. Concerts are every Sunday at 2 p.m., January 2 – March 27. Bruin writes "Perfect Harmony Men's Chorus, Madison's Gay and Gay-friendly men's chorus, is holding its spring concert, "Everything Possible" June 3 & 4.

This is PHMC's most politcally-charged concert to date, addressing family-oriented themes in response to the state's proposed Anti-same sex Marriage Amendment coming on our ballots in November, and will conclude with Randall Thompson's "Testament of Freedom", with lyrics by Thomas Jefferson.
